We are Real Action and we transform lives through literacy.

Butterfly High Flyers

Our educational charity, Real Action, is best known for the outstanding achievement of the children we teach at our Butterfly classes – on Saturdays, and in schools. Our community, with the country’s highest child deprivation level, has been beset by illiterate child gangs.

Our pupils’ reading ages rise by an average 12 months in 20 hours’ pacey Butterfly literacy teaching. They skip street life, go to university, fly high. Disadvantaged children need not be doomed to educational disadvantage.

“Just teach them, they’ll learn” we say.

Let’s create more Butterfly High Flyers. Support us, please…
