LEARNING TO READ, READING TO LEARN, a longitudinal research study by the Educational Research Foundation, demonstrates the long-term educational impact on children living on and around an exceptionally troubled inner London housing estate of being taught to read and write by an outstandingly powerful literacy teaching method.
