West London Zone

The West London Zone (WLZ) is a partnership of organizations and individuals working together to support children and young people across three square miles of south Brent, north Hammersmith, north Kensington and north Westminster.

Their vision is a community where every child, from any background, lands in adulthood safe, happy and healthy.

ColvillePrimarySchool

Colville Primary School

Colville Primary School is a safe, stimulating, inclusive and friendly school dedicated to the success of its children.

Pupils at the school make outstanding progress and achieve excellent standards across a range of subjects and especially in writing, reading and mathematics. Situated in the heart of Portobello Road they are used by many community groups and a diverse pupil population.

The families’ contribution to the school is essential and by working with families they have enabled pupils in our school to develop their skills and knowledge at a greater pace than could otherwise be expected.

Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT)

Rugby Portobello Trust (RPT) helps local young people to build their community by providing facilities, skills, activities and guidance that promote a stable society in a deprived area.

Young people are not just our future, they are our present. For society to function properly, they have to function properly. RPT is here to guide them on the journey through childhood, adolescence and young adulthood. Through a range of activities RPT gives stability and encouragement in lives that are often blighted by deprivation and crime.

RPT is open to all local children and young people for fun, learning, participation, community and self-improvement from the ages of 5 to 25. Our centre in Walmer Road is busy all day and at weekends. We work with 1,150 young people on and off site.

All our staff and volunteers are passionate, committed and professional about what we do.
